Hi,
I got a nodule and have been treated in a hospital in the Netherlands. Surgery was recommended and the hospital assigned a surgoen to me. This surgeon is the only one that is available soon. However the surgeon has quite a few negative reviews on zorgkaartnederland.nl.
I’m worried that things could go wrong like complications if I proceed with this surgeon. Are there any ways to know more about the surgeon before officially discussing the surgery in an appointment?
I also thought about transferring to another hospital but the waiting time could be long.
I only lived in the Netherlands for a short period of time. And I don’t know anyone who can help me in this matter. It would be much appreciated if anyone can help. And if there are more options than what I mentioned above, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

You can contact them and ask if they know an other hospital where this procedure can be done. They can also find out for you which hospital has the shortest waiting time.
