The week before the 17th I was already bleeding a little bit of pink blood which continued in the week in between the first and second m.a.p. After the second one my flow got much heavier and hasnt stopped. Its all fresh blood too, not brown or anything. So I am currently on day 7 of a heavy flow (using about 4/5 “nighttime” pads a day) with no sign of it slowing down. To be honest, this is what my periods used to be like, its nowhere near the heaviest Ive experienced. It’s just never lasted this long. I’ve called my doctor two days ago and he has said to wait it out a few more days and if it doesnt stop he can prescribe something to stop the bleeding. But I am experiencing all the natural symptoms of a period I used to get when I was younger also. Plus my mon has always had issues with extreme and two week long heavy periods.
Should I take the doctor up on the offer or do you think I can wait until after the weekend to see what happens?
I am taking an iron pill, my vitamins and paracetamol daily to help with the symptoms.

A little background; I am an overweight 27 year old female and currently on a weightloss diet which has caused my period to come back somewhat after it being very irregular/gone (once every 6 months) for about 2 years. The last period I had about a month ago was very light, I didnt need any menstrual protection for it.Y

Taking the morning after pill twice in a week can disrupt your period. But if the bleeding continues, I would go to the doctor and discuss the offer he made
