Sections through intestinal tissue whose lumen is lined with cylinder epithelium that continues into the deeper ducts. There is a slight decrease in the number of goblet cells. Some edematous stroma between the deepest glandular ducts and the muscularis mucosae. There is no dichotomy of the tubes. The epithelium has basally located nuclei without atypia. In the lamina propria a limited increased number of lymphocytes with admixture of segmental nuclei. The epithelium is slightly affected by the infiltrate. There are no crypt abscesses and/or no granulocytes. No granulomas.
