But about PR:
PR manifests as an acute, self-limiting, papulosquamous eruption with a duration of 6-8 weeks. Sometimes the rash lasts much longer. It evolves rapidly, usually beginning with patch that heralds the eruption, the so-called “herald patch” . It may sometimes occur in atypical variants or may mimic other skin disorders, such as tinea corporis.
PR does not need treatment.
A menthol creme or solution can be used against the itch, or sometimes light treatments for the itch.
